Clean Water Action is proud to partner with representatives from the International Association of Fire Fighters and allies in the environmental community to help better protect our fire fighters from exposure to toxic Per- and polyfluoroalkylsubstances (PFAS). Together we helped shape HB 1261 which prohibits the sale, manufacture and use of PFAS laden firefighting foam and requires firefighting gear with PFAS to contain warning labels.
