Please join us at Philadelphia’s Discovery Center as we celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of 2024 with food, fun, drinks, and music! This year’s event will feature both a live and silent auction. This will be our first auction and celebration since the COVID-19 Pandemic.
We will also recognize local champions through our Florence Neilson Environmental Leadership and Jerry Balter Environmental Justice Awards.
Past support for this important event has enabled us to expand our Lead Hazard Awareness and ReThink Disposable Programs. Additionally, we are working to address pollution in Philadelphia's Environmental Justice communities through initiatives that end dumping, monitor air quality, promote greening, and improve stormwater infrastructure. Legislatively, Clean Water led the passage of the plastic bag ban, and the Bring Your Own Bag Amendment while also pursuing environmental justice legislation to assist underserved communities in Pennsylvania and ban toxic PFAS chemicals from consumer products and firefighting foam.
