Scientists are finding alarming amounts of microplastics in human organs, including the brain. AB 823 (authored by Assemblymember Tasha Boerner of San Diego) bans microplastics in cosmetics and cleaning products so they don’t get into our bodies or rinse down the drain into water supplies, and is an important part of the solution.
