The cookware industry is working very hard to kill SB 682, which will ban unnecessary uses of PFAS in products, such as cookware, dental floss, cleaners, and children’s items. We can’t let that happen. While companies profit from products containing these toxic chemicals, consumers bear the burden of environmental cleanup and health costs. That makes no sense, especially when the chemicals aren't even needed in these products.
That’s why we’re asking you to send a message to Governor Newsom telling him to sign SB 682 (Allen) into law.
