Use Your Voice: Tell DEP to Reject Toxic Industry Near Our Homes!

Call for Public Comments Against Polluting Facilities!

With continued pollution and new facilities being approved in overburdened communities, it’s important to recognize how these projects affect the daily lives and health of residents. Many neighborhoods already face higher rates of asthma, cancer, and chronic illness from years of exposure to harmful air and water. These same communities often have fewer healthcare resources and little say in what gets built nearby.

When you submit a comment, it goes to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). This state office reviews proposals for facilities that could affect your air, water, and health. They are required to read and respond to each comment. By sharing your experience, you help show what life is really like in your community. Your words can help protect your neighborhood, raise awareness, and push for healthier decisions.
