This month in California, the Governor vetoed two important bills that were sponsored by Clean Water Action, SB 682 (Allen) and AB 823 (Boerner). Governor Newsom's given reasons were illogical and echoed misleading industry talking points, even when those talking points were demonstrably false.
But this isn't the end. We still have a voice. Send a thank-you message to the authors of these two bills and let them know they still have our support. Your letters will be also be cc’d to Governor Newsom to show that we don’t agree with the vetoes.
