Connecticut is out of places to put trash. We generate far more waste than we can dispose of in-state, and the cost of shipping it to landfills in Pennsylvania and Ohio is rising. We need to make less trash!
Neighboring states are already modeling successful policies to make sure that more of their waste is diverted, composted, or never created in the first place. We can save municipalities money and fight litter by adopting waste reduction policies in CT, too!
