The purpose of this Port Tour is to gain a better understanding of the impact that shipping goods mostly by dirty diesel trucks across NJ, from port to warehouse to delivery, is having on both our health, environment, goods movement workers and frontline communities.
This Port Tour will include stops at last-mile warehouses in Elizabeth, NJ & a few shipping/cargo terminals at the Port of Elizabeth and Newark. A Spanish translator will be present.
This is a free event and open to the public! Refreshments will be available during and after the tour.
