Action Alert: Addressing Land Use of Biosolids with PFAS

PFAS are a group of thousands of human-made toxic chemicals. Exposure to PFAS chemicals has been linked to serious health problems. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is revising a policy to limit the exposure of PFAS through the land application of biosolids. The policy is currently out for public comment until September 2nd.

Weigh in with PA DEP today and let them know that while this is positive progress, the policy needs to be strengthened to reduce the impact on our soil, water, farms, animals and environment.
